Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation and upkeep of our premises, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building upkeep
  • Assist with preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to identify and address potential problems
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supplies
  • Support the setup and breakdown of facilities for events or special functions
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in building maintenance, repair, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
