Full job description

Adecco has partnered with a local building materials company looking to add a Paint / Stain Technician to their first shift operation in Howell, MI. In this role, you will prepare wood surfaces and apply paints, primers, stains, and protective coatings to products per customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, grind, mask, and prime surfaces

  • Paint Mixing: Match colors and mix paints, solvents, and catalysts accurately based on manufacturer specifications or product codes.

  • Application: Operate spray guns, airless sprayers, and related equipment to apply smooth, even coats without runs, sags, or dry spots.

  • Quality Control: Inspect finished surfaces for defects, measure paint thickness or viscosity, and perform necessary touch-ups.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean spray nozzles, hoses, and paint booths regularly to maintain proper operation.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
