Important Immigration Information:

In addition, on January 27, 2026, Texas Governor Abbot issued a moratorium on the filing of any new H-1B unless approved by the Texas Workforce Commission. Accordingly, if you will now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status this moratorium may affect our ability to employ you should you be selected as the final candidate.


Provides administrative and operational support including updating student records, implementing customer service initiatives, conducting training sessions, and overseeing functional office operations. Work hours: Mon-Fri; 8 AM-5 PM or as work requirements indicate. Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

50% Reviews documents and forms specific to graduation, degree plans, and exceptions for completeness, tracks files for follow-up, and distributes for review. Research and resolve complex issues and respond to inquiries regarding exceptions, degree plans, and graduation audits and applications. Provides training to internal staff and across various departments including but not limited to advisors, department heads, and deans. Oversees the process of Tuition Rebate forms and submits them to Business Services for final approval.

20% Maintains accurate and up-to-date information on the university graduation website and coordinates changes with Conferencing & Event Services/Chair of the Commencement Committee. Communicate information to students on graduation application deadlines, conferral status, and degree status.

15% Supervises Graduation student workers to assist in all aspects of Graduation preparation. Provides exemplary customer service to students, faculty, and staff that contact the Registrar's Office seeking assistance with graduation. Serves as the point of contact for Tarleton's diploma vendor.

10% Manages the logistics of all graduation ceremonies. Proofs the commencement program throughout the semester with members of the Commencement Committee. Maintains supplies necessary for graduation. Runs a report to furnish a list of names and addresses to the commencement photographer.

5% Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Three years of progressively responsible experience working with business information systems, records and customer service.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Salary Range:

The target base annual salary range is $44,000 up to $55,550.50 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
