Job Duties
As a Head Start Assistant Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing a pre-school classroom of up to twenty children. Duties include providing classroom supervision on a daily basis, conducting one home visit per child, and three parent-teacher conferences for enrolled families.
Minimum Education Required
- Position requires a preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential within two years of hire- Lakes and Pines provides training opportunities to obtain this.
Minimum Experience Required

Less than one year of experience

Experience working with children ages 0-5

Must have reliable transportation

Must have valid driver’s license and current auto insurance coverage in compliance with Minnesota State guidelines on the vehicle used for work related travel

Ability to effectively work across differences, especially socio-economic and cultural differences
