What will you be doing?

  • Aligning with  Clickstop’s Core Values (https://clickstop.com/culture/clickstop-core-values/) to drive our culture and business forward.

  • Conducting keyword, market, and product research to inform category navigation, SEO content, product discoverability, and the overall customer experience.

  • Maintaining and growing our product catalog and feeds, using Excel and accurate product data to support efficient website updates and data-driven decisions.

  • Driving traffic, conversion, average order value, and revenue through strategic merchandising and customer-focused website improvements.

  • Collaborating across Marketing and other teams to execute integrated merchandising campaigns and identify opportunities to reach and serve customers.

  • Leading projects from strategy through execution, using automation and scalable processes while creating clear expectations, accountability, and measurable impact on website KPIs.

Digital Merchandising Specialist Critical Skills

  1. Customer, Market & Category Insight
  • Use customer, keyword, market, and product research to understand how customers discover, compare, and evaluate products.

  • Translate insights into stronger category structure, product findability, and merchandising decisions.

  • Understand how product data, catalog structure, navigation, SEO, and visual merchandising work together to influence website performance.

  • Use data, systems, automation, and scalable processes to improve merchandising execution.

  1. Brand Promise & Customer Experience Judgment
  • Create clear, accurate, and customer-friendly product and category experiences that make it easier for customers to confidently find and select the right products.

  • Recognize and address gaps in product information or presentation that may create confusion or reduce trust.

Enables: Greater customer confidence, stronger conversion support, and better Brand Promise execution.

  • Make and prioritize merchandising decisions based on customer needs, product performance, traffic, conversion, revenue, and profitability.

  • Identify product and website opportunities that meaningfully contribute to business growth.

  1. Cross-Functional Execution & Continuous Improvement
  • Collaborate across marketing and business teams to execute merchandising initiatives with clear expectations, communication, and accountability.

  • Improve how work gets done through better processes, automation, and scalable tools.

Enables: B etter campaign execution, stronger accountability, and more efficient, scalable merchandising operations.

What do we value in this role?

  • Understanding and experience with utilizing Large Language Models and Artificial Intelligence for developing skills, agents, and workflow automations.

  • Hands-on experience using LLM tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in daily marketing work, including prompt design and quality review of AI output.

  • AI-assisted content and campaign production: Use generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to speed up copywriting, product and category page content, ad and email variations, and landing page briefs, with human review to keep the brand voice and technical accuracy.

  • AI-driven research and analysis: Apply AI to competitive intelligence, pricing and market analysis, and large product-data audits, turning the findings into clear recommendations and executive-ready deliverables.

  • Workflow automation and emerging tools: Build and maintain automated marketing workflows (n8n or similar), and evaluate new AI-powered site experiences, such as conversational product discovery, for fit with our brand and customer needs.

  • Understanding and experience executing SEO (Search Engine Optimization) tactics.

  • Experience using Google Analytics/GA4

  • Microsoft Excel proficiency.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and create accountability for yourself and others.

  • Strategic and curious, with a drive to understand our goals, market, and customers while continuously learning and improving.

  • Results-oriented, maintaining high standards and challenging existing systems or processes when a better approach will lead to stronger outcomes.

This role is remote or hybrid.

Note:   For remote work, internet speeds of 20 mbps are required. To be considered for a remote role at Clickstop, residence must be in one of the following states: Iowa, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Pennsylvania.   Must be authorized to work in the United States.
