What We Need:
PDC:

We are seeking an enthusiastic API & Automation Associate to help build, maintain, and support our growing ecosystem of API integrations, automated workflows, and AI-enabled business tools. Working directly under the mentorship of the API & Automation Specialist, you will assist in connecting internal systems, executing hands-on integration development, and ensuring data flows smoothly across the organization. This is an ideal role for an early-career developer or systems integrator eager to grow their skills in API architecture, workflow automation, and practical enterprise AI applications.
What You'll Be Doing:

API & Integration Execution: Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining secure RESTful API connections between internal applications and external data sources.

Workflow Automation: Build and configure automated workflows (using low-code tools, Python, or JavaScript) to reduce manual work and optimize daily business processes.

System Monitoring & Support: Monitor active integrations and AI workflows, log performance metrics, troubleshoot errors, and maintain system uptime.

Documentation & Testing: Maintain clear documentation for endpoints, data flows, and standard operating procedures; write test scripts for initial integration releases.

Cross-Functional Support: Work alongside the API & Automation Specialist to gather requirements from business teams and deliver hands-on technical support.

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on project experience).

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in API consumption, software development, or systems integration.

Technical Skills:
-
Basic-to-intermediate proficiency with Python, JavaScript, or Node.js, and working knowledge of SQL.

Hands-on experience working with APIs (REST, webhooks, JSON payload handling) using tools like Postman.

Familiarity with low-code/no-code automation tools or workflow engine scripting.

Foundational understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and modern AI APIs/LLM implementations (e.g., Gemini API).

Core Competencies: Strong analytical troubleshooting skills, eager adaptability to learn new tech stacks quickly, and clear technical writing abilities.
