Business Intelligence & Data Solutions Team Lead

Job Description

The Business Intelligence & Data Solutions Team Lead will lead a team responsible for collecting, modeling, and transforming enterprise data into actionable business insights while owning both the data architecture and analytics solutions that support strategic decision-making. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership, requiring the ability to architect AWS-based data solutions, build data products, develop dashboards and reporting tools, manage analysts and developers, and partner with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Commercial teams. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing technical architecture and data engineering concepts such as pipelines, orchestration, and data modeling as they are presenting business insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

Compensation: $$90/hr to $95/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience delivering Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions from data collection through insight generation

• Hands-on AWS experience, including data pipelines, storage solutions, and architecture decisions

• Advanced SQL skills

• Experience with QuickSight and Power BI

• Team leadership and people management experience

• Ability to prioritize work across multiple stakeholders and business functions

• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions

• Understanding of Data Engineering concepts, including orchestration, pipelines, and data modeling

• Experience building customer-facing or external-facing analytics products

• Practical experience utilizing AI/LLM tools to improve productivity and analytics workflows

• AWS experience, including data pipelines, storage solutions, and architecture decisions.

• Experience with Power BI and QuickSight. Data science experience.

• Experience with R.

• Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, retail, sporting goods, or a similar industry.

• Experience working with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, or Commercial stakeholders.

• Experience supporting enterprise transformation or SAP S/4HANA initiatives.
