Looking to turn your classroom knowledge into real-world experience? Foth is seeking a motivated Environmental Science Intern to join our Duluth, MN office for Summer 2027 . As part of our environmental team, you'll support meaningful projects, build technical skills, and gain firsthand exposure to how we address complex environmental challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

Perform environmental field work in coordination with contractors, clients, staff geologists and project managers

Travel to project locations to perform environmental sampling, geologic logging, field documentation, aquifer testing, surface water discharge gauging, surveying and contractor oversight

Support geology, hydrogeology and surface water hydrology projects in the environmental services industry

Perform quantitative analysis of hydrologic and hydrogeologic data

Manage geologic and environmental data

Responsibly complete environmental reporting tasks in coordination with project team
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering or related field
The base compensation range for this position is included in this job posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as relevant experience, geographic location, scope and level of responsibility, and applicable licenses or certifications. In addition to base compensation, eligible members may participate in Foth’s Earned Performance Incentive program and may receive other discretionary bonuses, including On‑the‑Spot recognition awards. Exempt members may also be eligible for quarterly and/or annual incentive opportunities, where applicable.

This position may be filled at a different level based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. If this occurs, the compensation range and eligibility for incentive opportunities may vary accordingly.
