Your role and responsibilities
You will join the IBM Z Ecosystem team that supports IBM clients, ISV's, business partners, and internal teams world wide. We work on hands-on engagements with cutting-edge IBM Z and LinuxONE technology, providing enablement, guidance, and technical demonstrations to help organizations realize the full potential of IBM Z. As an Entry Level Technical Enablement Specialist, you will gain exposure to enterprise-class systems, modern automation, and hybrid cloud environments. We are looking for a variety of skills, you don't have to check all the boxes. This role may involve any of the following responsibilities:

Contribute to IBM Z and LinuxONE capacity and performance studies.

Infrastructure design, deployment, and readiness activities supporting IBM Z and LinuxONE technology, networking, and storage environments.

Designing and building partner-facing and client-ready assets, including: value proposition, presentations, demos, workshops, and/or labs in a variety of industry, IBM Z and LinuxONE HW and SW focus areas.

Coordinate speaker preparation, event materials, track attendance, engagement, and other tasks as assigned. Compile reporting on events.

Provide scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow-up support for Z Skills program workstreams.

Relationship building with assigned ISVs.

Develop and execute joint business and success plans aligned with IBM LinuxONE and IBM Z Ecosystem objectives.

Conduct meetings and understand partner priorities, challenges, opportunities, and growth plans.

Develop and execute joint go-to-market plans with assigned ISVs.
Required technical and professional expertise
-
Working towards Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Flexible and self-starter to adapt to dynamic work environment.
-
Understanding and experience using AI tools for productivity.
-
Foundational understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, or databases.
-
Familiarity with project management frameworks and tooling.
-
Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn enterprise technology.
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
-
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through."
Preferred technical and professional experience

Foundational IBM Z and LinuxONE knowledge.

Foundational knowledge of agile development practices

Cloud and Containerization experience

Data science and AI skills

Customer service experience

Experience as a program/project manager

Knowledge in working with metrics and data tracking for program reporting
