Salary Range: $25.00 To $45.00 Hourly

Matrix-NDI is seeking an experienced low-voltage technician to work at a hyperscale data center in North Dakota. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 year of experience, is committed to quality, and is willing to work long hours. A minimum 12-month commitment is required and company housing will be provided.

Essential Duties

  • Install low voltage systems, cabling infrastructure, and equipment in commercial/industrial sites in a neat and organized manner

  • Perform all cable pulling, cable supports, fireproofing, terminating, and testing in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other local regulations

  • Test cable infrastructure to ensure performance meets TIA standards

  • Read and interpret blueprints

  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently

  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude

  • Maintain regular and acceptable attendance and punctuality

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • 2+ years of experience required

Working conditions

  • 40 + hour work week

  • Potential for overtime, night, and weekend work

Physical requirements

  • The ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time

  • Able to work on your feet for an entire day

  • Ability to climb ladders throughout the day

  • Able to grasp, push, pull, and carry objects

  • Good hand-eye coordination

  • Able to work at heights and in confined or awkward spaces

  • Able to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
