Job Summary

The Senior EndPoint Administrator supports the maintenance, enhancement, and security of enterprise systems, including infrastructure, applications, and access controls. This role is responsible for troubleshooting complex system issues, implementing technical solutions, and ensuring the integrity and security of system configurations. The Senior EndPoint Administrator collaborates with cross-functional teams to manage infrastructure, application environments, and system-level security, with availability for after-hours support and participation in on-call rotations.

Essential Functions

  • Administers and supports enterprise infrastructure and systems, including servers, storage, and cloud-based platforms.

  • Diagnoses and resolves complex technical issues, including hardware failures, software problems, and access-related incidents.

  • Maintains system documentation, configuration standards, and procedures in accordance with organizational policies.

  • Implements system updates, patches, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance and security.

  • Manages access controls and security roles within enterprise applications, including ERP and HCM platforms.

  • Participates in system security design, access provisioning, and auditing efforts to maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborates with IT, Cybersecurity, and Identity Access Management (IAM) teams to support user access, security testing, and incident response.

  • Supports automation and optimization initiatives related to system performance and user provisioning.

  • Participates in rotational on-call support and scheduled maintenance activities as required.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Position-Specific Responsibilities

  • Design, optimize, and maintain enterprise MECM infrastructure (Primary Sites, CMG, DPs, WSUS) while driving co-management strategies, workload transitions, and adoption of modern endpoint technologies.

  • Establish endpoint security baselines, drift detection, and automated remediation aligned with CIS Benchmarks and NIST controls to lead vulnerability management and audit readiness.

  • Develop PowerShell scripts for automated administration and build custom SQL, SSRS, and Power BI dashboards to deliver executive and compliance reporting.

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for advanced infrastructure and deployment issues while providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level administrators.

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred

  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in systems administration supporting mid-to-large enterprise environments required

  • Experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting infrastructure components (e.g., servers, storage, virtualization, networking) and enterprise applications required

  • 3-5 years of experience with access and security administration in enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, HCM, EHR) preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience administering Microsoft SCCM/MECM/InTune and in an enterprise environment.

  • Strong experience with:o Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)o Microsoft InTuneo Windows Servero Windows 10/11 administrationo Active Directoryo Group Policyo PowerShell scriptingo SQL Server reportingo Windows deployment serviceso Endpoint security technologies

  • Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux server administration.

  • Strong understanding of system security, backup, and recovery procedures.

  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking concepts.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Relevant certification in systems administration, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Server+, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) preferred

  • Security or access management certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security certification preferred
