Fabrication Laborer

Responsibilities

• Clean and finish steel beams and structural components

• Use grinders, torches, and plasma equipment to prepare materials

• Read blueprints and work instructions

• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials

• Load, unload, and stage materials for production and shipping

• Use hand tools to support fabrication and production tasks

• Measure materials and verify dimensions using a tape measure

• Assist with inventory, shipping, and general shop duties

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Work with the team to meet production goals

Requirements

• Manufacturing, fabrication, or general labor experience

• Experience using grinders, torches, or plasma cutting equipment

• Ability to read blueprints and tape measures

• Forklift and overhead crane experience

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

• Basic math and measurement skills

• Comfortable working with steel and heavy materials

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Additional Skills

• Inventory and material handling experience

• Shipping and receiving experience

• Experience with hand and power tools

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Structural steel or metal fabrication experience

• Strong attention to safety and quality

• Ability to work independently and on a team

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Airway Heights, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
