Minimum Education Required

Training Required/Provided

Training will be at our Beaumont location in Lexington, Monday – Friday for 8 weeks. The hours for training will be 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.

$17.00 - $19.00 / hourly

Job Description

Description: Proactive team player needed to prepare and label blood components from donated blood. Will perform and document lab equipment quality control and maintenance; and assist with maintaining, filing, and storing lab records. Ability to evaluate information and recognize discrepancies. Job-specific training provided.

Work Environment: This position regularly involves the following:

Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.

Frequently fulfill basic clerical duties (typing/writing).

Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Frequently bend or reach to perform various job tasks.

Analyze complex situations and make sound decisions.

Adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

Perform repetitive motion/precision work for extended periods of time.

Visually differentiate and identify specific colors, and various shades

Requirements:

High school diploma/equivalent. Related training and education a plus.

Basic MS Office skills with the ability to effectively navigate web-based applications and systems.

Must possess excellent customer service skills, reliability, professionalism, and the ability to easily learn new skills, and follow standard operating procedures.

Must work well with others and demonstrate a desire to effectively interact with the public.

Have a strong, stable work history.

Pre-employment background check, and drug screen are required.

Proof of education/certifications required during the interview process.
