What is Cartage? Cartage is building Wilson, an AI that coordinates freight for manufacturers and distributors—handling the tedious work of booking, tracking, and managing shipments end-to-end. Our customers range from startup snack companies to the second largest furniture company in the United States. With Wilson, teams can offload their entire logistics function and scale infinitely at a fraction of the cost of a human team. Backed by Y Combinator (S24), Paul Graham, and a $3.3M seed round, we’ve built a product that customers love and now we want to give our Go To Market team technical leverage. This is an opportunity to build technical marketing systems from the ground up. You’ll work side-by-side with the Chief of Staff and Chief Revenue Officer and build 0-1 systems for expanding top of funnel. What You’ll Do Help Wilson sell himself: Wilson is an AI agent who sends emails, text messages, and make phone calls every day to move freight for our customers. He should also be able to use the same capabilities to reach out to prospects.

Build automated outreach from the ground up: We have a problem. We’re great at closing deals but our top of funnel relies on our small sales team doing outreach. We want to scale our top of funnel using technical leverage, not mass hiring. Who You Are High-agency problem solver: You don’t wait for direction. You move fast through ambiguity, seek clarity on your own, and hop on the phone with customers to get to the root of issues and solve them directly. High EQ: You read people well, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, and know how to build trust quickly with customers. You’re comfortable navigating difficult conversations and turning messy customer feedback into clear action.
