IT Facilities Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an individual to support us as an IT Facilities Manager for an effort developing software & hardware prototypes for Department of War customers. the efficient operation, maintenance, and security of the project within the facility while also supporting internal systems management and resource planning. This dual role requires a dynamic individual with experience in facilities management and resource/space allocation as well as technical proficiency in system administration, particularly the ability to oversee and manage IT systems and platforms.

Duties:

• Manage daily operations, maintenance, and repairs to ensure facility functionality, safety, and compliance.
• Develop and oversee budgets for utilities, maintenance, and capital improvements.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure effective and cost-efficient services.
• Conduct inspections, address safety hazards, and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Respond to emergencies and oversee resolution efforts for facility-related issues.
• Manage facility software and hardware systems, including building and security management platforms.
• Perform system maintenance such as updates, troubleshooting, and ensuring reliability.
• Collaborate with IT to integrate facility systems with enterprise platforms.
• Implement strategies to optimize space and improve workspace efficiency

Hourly: 53-64/hr Salary: 115,000-122,000

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors and 9+ years of experience, or 12+ years of experience
• Active TSSCI Clearance
• Four (4) years of professional experience in facilities management or systems administration may be substituted for a degree.
• U.S. citizen and active TS with SCI eligibility.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management, with a proven track record of managing medium to large facilities.
• Experience with system administration, including a strong understanding of IT network architecture and troubleshooting •IT administration certifications (sec+ or higher)
