Rate: $30 USD per hour

Description

Be part of something new from the ground up in Troy! We're launching a brand-new terminal an looking for dedicated school bus drivers who want more than a job - they want to help build a team, shape a culture and make a real impact in the community from day one.

As a school bus driver, you'll be supported by a hand-on local management team and provided the resources needed to succeed. You'll play a vital role in your community by safely transporting students to and from school along established routes, maintaining strict safety standards to ensure everything runs smoothly.

We are looking for candidates who currently hold a Class A or B CDL with S, P and air brake endorsements and are ready to be part of something new, meaningful and built for success right here in Troy.

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Location: Troy NY 12182

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a school bus route - picking up and dropping off student passengers at established stops on the route.

  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.

  • Conduct post-trip vehicle inspections.

  • Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.

  • Clean bus as necessary to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image.

  • As requested or desired to take field trips, activity trips and charter runs to transport students and other passengers to and from their destinations.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years verifiable driving history

  • Clean driving record within the last 24-36 months

  • Must currently hold a CDL A or B With S, P & air brake endorsements

  • Complete comprehensive training program

  • Pass Pre-employment screenings

  • Note: All applicants must pass a mandatory drug screening as part of the hiring process. This screening includes testing for illicit substances as well as THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the active ingredient in marijuana.
