Hiring Facilities Technicians Near You!

Up to $38/hour + Weekly Pay!

Multiple Shifts Available

The Facilities Technician provides comprehensive maintenance support for assigned buildings, ensuring that all facilities remain safe, secure, and well-maintained. This role focuses on general building maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and HVAC systems, and performing preventive maintenance to support a reliable and efficient workplace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor facilities regularly to ensure they remain safe, secure, and well-maintained.

  • Troubleshoot power systems, HVAC systems and controls, and other mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.

  • Perform general and preventive maintenance on building systems, including carpentry and plumbing tasks.

  • Coordinate and manage vendor activities related to facility maintenance and repairs.

  • Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed to maintain proper illumination throughout the facility.

  • Move and rearrange office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested to support operational needs.

Essential Skills

  • 57 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or a closely related field.

  • Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and basic maintenance.

  • Practical experience with plumbing and general building repair tasks.

  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and facility-related issues effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.

  • Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.

  • High school diploma or GED.

Work Environment

This role is based on a large corporate campus environment in a banking-related setting. Facilities Technicians work with building systems such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general mechanical equipment to keep the campus operating smoothly. Multiple shift options are available, including first shift (Sunday to Wednesday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM) and third shift (Wednesday to Saturday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM), providing flexibility for different schedules. The work involves both indoor and occasional physical tasks such as moving furniture and equipment, performing routine inspections, and coordinating with vendors. The environment emphasizes safety, reliability, and professional conduct in a corporate setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Malvern, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
