THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD1963000 and is part of the KY 123 AW, National Guard.

Duties

As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - TITLE 32, GS-0346-11, you will serve as the program manager for the Integrated Deployment System (IDS): Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments, Contingency Operations/Mobility Planning and Executive System (COMPES), Logistics Module-Base Level, Automated Air Load Planning System, and Cargo Movement Operations System. Serve as the subject matter expert for COMPES to assist the Wing Commander and Logistics Officer in selecting, deploying and monitoring contingency forces. Maintain LOGMOD-B and the Logistics Detail data, design logistics packages to meet Operation Plans tasking, and coordinate with units to ensure compliance and accuracy of systems. Formulate and consolidate logistical annexes for IDS guidance based on regulations, manuals, instructions, and directives. Plan, develop and conduct deployment training for the wing and units. Ensure units meet all pre-execution and command and control requirements for deployments. Provide guidance and perform staff assistance visits to identify, correct, and assist with deployment oriented problems. Identify required deployment support with the wing staff and serve as the NCOIC for the transportation of equipment and personnel. Determine the type and number of aircraft required for mission deployment. Validate load plans, priority shipments, and customs clearance requirements. Review resource/logistics plans, programs, and deployment activities. Review OPLANS, Concept Plans, Concept of Operations, USAF Special Operation Plans, Exercise Plans, and Execution Orders. Analyze and identify tasking for logistical problems. Analyze In-Garrison Expeditionary Site Plans. Serve as wing AEF Reporting Tool manager and wing Status of Resources and Training System manager. Provide technical logistic plans support at staff meetings and working groups. Resolve logistical problems. Responsible for Support Agreements for the wing. Monitor status of WRM posture for the wing and provide guidance and assistance to units. Perform other duties as assigned. Military Grades: MSgt (E-7) - SMSgt (E-8) RANK REQUIREMENT: Member must provide in writing with their application package that they are willing to accept a reduction in rank in order to be qualified for this position, if applicable. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: You must maintain membership in the Kentucky National Guard. You must be assigned to a compatible military position. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Must obtain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation. Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate a military bonus. Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Experience involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months experience identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring functions such as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment.
