Employment Type: Full timeShift: Day Shift Description: The Staff RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients. This RN functions in Pre-Admission Testing. Functions as the leader for a nursing unit and assumes responsibility as Charge Nurse when assigned this task. Full Time Days - Monday thru FridayPosition Purpose Join our compassionate team at St. Mary’s Hospital, where you’ll play a crucial role in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. As a Staff RN, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while leading your unit and stepping in as Charge Nurse when needed. Your expertise will ensure our patients receive the best possible care.

What You Will Do

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop personalized care plans with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion.
  • Adjust care plans based on patient responses and ongoing evaluations.
  • Lead and coordinate care during routine and emergency situations.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Contribute to quality improvement efforts and support cost-saving initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Experience preferred.
