Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a ceritified welder who will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes. Must follow WPS, blueprints, and safety standards to produce high-quality, code-compliant welds.

Key Duties:

Weld and repair plate, pipe, and structural assemblies

Interpret blueprints and verify fit-up before welding

Conduct inspections and maintain weld documentation

Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols

Collaborate with QA/QC and suggest process improvements

Strong emphasis in TIG aluminum thick plates

Skills and Requirements

High school diploma or GED

AWS Certified Welder; able to pass 3G/4G or 6G tests

3+ years of welding experience

Skilled in blueprint reading and welding tools

Physically able to lift 50 lbs. and work in varied environments
