Summary

You will serve as an expert Intelligence Analyst responsible for all-source research, analysis, and production supporting the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Squadron and Intelligence Directorate.

Duties

  • You will conduct all-source research and analysis of explosive ordinance disposal related topics, including improvised explosive devices and weapons of mass destruction and advanced weapon systems.
  • You will author intelligence products to support decision making, including the development of concepts of operation.
  • You will provide expert advice regarding the Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination cycle to ensure Intelligence Directorate equities are properly represented.
  • You will analyze data from the full spectrum of intelligence disciplines including Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT).

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: Interpret, evaluate and integrate all source intelligence analysis data and accurately integrate that data into analysis and targeting. Serve as a subject matter expert on counter-weapons of mass destruction, improvised explosive device, and advanced weapon system intelligence matters. Produce organization and national level intelligence products for presentation at high level briefings. Serve as Command representative at interagency and intelligence community meetings and conferences. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. May work schedules other than Monday-Friday. Work is performed outdoors under normal weather conditions for the area and time of year, and involves varied terrain and conditions. Work requires regular and recurring field visits which involve long periods of standing and walking over uneven surfaces, climbing in/out of on/around machinery, vehicles, assault craft, aircraft, and ships. Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to swim. May be exposed to hazardous or hostile environments. May be authorized to carry a weapon as required and must therefore be qualified with the weapon. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
