Responsibilities Lead strategic sourcing initiatives with the ability of achieving significant cost reductions, supplanted with year over year savings and operational improvements in the total cost of goods and services procured while maintaining or improving product quality and supplier service levels. Leads, facilitates, assembles, and manages cross-functional teams across the system of Piedmont Healthcare to drive system wide performance improvements, cost reductions, improved or enhanced service level and quality excellence, and knowledge transfer for replication of best practices. Coordinates with Supply Chain to ensure that all agreements are properly loaded within systems and products or services are properly implemented operationally. Effective communications to key stakeholders including but not limited to medical staff, clinicians, legal, executive leaders and supplier executives. Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing or a closely related field Required or

  • In Lieu of degree six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement Required

Work Experience

  • 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain or related role where financial analysis, contracting, and/or clinical analysis Required or

  • In lieu of degree eleven (11) years of experience in a Supply Chain or related role where financial analysis, contracting, and/or clinical analysis Required

  • A comprehensive knowledge of assigned commodities and materials management principles and practices Required
