Summary: The  Software Engineering Intern will provide Software support to the Engineering Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned.

• Think logically and reasonably to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

• Knowledge of Software Engineering concepts and principles

• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.

• Research solutions to project concerns, analyze and recommend solutions to problems.

• Collaborate with the Engineering team to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.

• Assist in documenting software specifications, technical procedures, and user guides to ensure clear communication among team members.

• Understand department needs and seek clarification when needed.

• Adheres to and enforces safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations.

• Reports food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED;

• Currently attending accredited institution pursuing a degree in Software Engineering or a related field .

Computer Skills:

• Microsoft Office ; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
