Accounting Manager

Description

My client is looking for an Accounting Manager to fill the role in their VA office. The company is based in the technology industry and the ideal Accounting Manager for this role will be responsible for supporting the accounting department. The responsibilities for the Accounting Manager will include producing the financial statements, ensuring compliance with ASC standards, assisting with the consolidation process, contributing to the SEC reporting, reviewing and posting intercompany transactions, researching technical accounting matters, and assisting with the quarterly close process. Daily responsibilities of the Accounting Manager include:

• Prepare financial statements.

• Assist with quarterly close process.

• Support SEC reporting process.

• Research technical accounting matters.

• Ensures revenue accounting is in compliance with ASC standards.

• Assist with other ad hoc duties.

Requirements

The ideal Accounting Manager we seek must have the following qualifications for consideration:

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Experience with ASC 606 standards.

• Familiarity with SEC requirements and IFRS, a plus.

• CPA, required.
