School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Up to $70/Hour + Travel Package | Elementary Caseload

Amergis is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students in a school-based setting. This is a full-time opportunity working with students in grades 3-5 and collaborating with educators and the special education team to help students achieve their communication goals.

? Position Details

  • Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

  • Schedule: Full-Time

  • Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Contract Length: 9 Months

  • Grade Level: Elementary (Grades 3-5)

  • Estimated Caseload: 45-50 students

  • Interview Process: Virtual interview with the SPED team and Principal

?? Compensation

  • Pay rates up to $70/hour for local candidates

  • Travel pay package available up to $3,006/week for qualified travelers, including housing and meal stipends

??? Responsibilities

  • Perform student evaluations and assessments

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

  • Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with student needs

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

  • Support students in achieving communication and educational goals

? Minimum Requirements

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Oregon or ability to obtain

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by contract

  • School-based and/or pediatric experience preferred

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and support staff

  • Ability to receive and implement feedback

  • Complies with all professional standards of practice

  • Current CPR certification if required

  • Current health clearance and TB documentation if applicable

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
