Job Description

Insight Global's legal client is seeking a Senior Manager of Finance & Accounting to play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations across multiple states. In this leadership role, you will lead the finance and accounting team: manage accounting reports, develop strategic financial plans, and executive efficiently to ensure the firm stays financially healthy as they continue expanding.

Day to Day: Guardian of the Gate: Ensure financial integrity across all operations, maintaining accurate records and adhering to industry standards. Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide insightful financial analysis and strategy to guide firm decisions, helping us navigate the complexities of the legal industry. Financial Process Optimization: Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, refining financial processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small finance department, in addition to directly supporting leadership, fostering an environment of growth, learning, and collaboration. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, the executive team, and other internal departments to ensure financial goals align with the firm’s larger mission.

Skills and Requirements

5-7 years of experience in a senior financial role, with strong experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. 3 years of management experience. Recent experience in one of the following areas: legal, banking, professional services, or related. Strong ability to analyze financial data, translate it into actionable insights, and drive strategic decisions. Comfortable working with high level individuals (Attorneys, C-Suite). Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Tech-Savvy: able to work in financial software and learn new technologies CPA, strongly preferred. Previous experience working in a law firm
