Rate: $19 USD per hour

Description

✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Part Time On Call Youth Care Worker at Hope Forest Academy in Paisely, Florida ✨

We are located on a beautiful 49-acre ranch-style campus where we provide services and care for at-risk boys ages 12-18. We have daily visitors such as turkeys, deer and even wild peacocks. We also have two lakes stocked with fish for both kids & staff to enjoy whenever possible.

Make Great Pay doing good work! Position pays $19 per hour to start!

This position will be part time on call.

What you will do/Day in the Life:

The primary responsibilities of a Youth Care Worker are to provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of at-risk youth. Youth Care Worker provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each student through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development. Youth Care Worker's provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students; monitor and document student behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. You will be providing active supervision at all times to youth in our care.

To be considered you should be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect and have a high school diploma or equivalent. You must also be at least 21 years of age, have a desire to work with troubled teens and be able to pass a DCF criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test. There is no previous experience required for this role, but previous work with youth is preferred. Excellent Training will be provided!
