REMOTE-Decision Scientist

Job Description

We are seeking a Decision Scientist to perform advanced data analysis, generate actionable insights, and translate complex findings into business-facing deliverables. This individual will work independently within a well-organized data environment, identify trends and root causes, and help proactively surface business issues before they impact stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker who can combine technical expertise with effective data storytelling.

Investigate business questions such as changes in volume and other performance indicators. Conduct root cause analysis and develop data-driven recommendations. Transform analytical findings into clear, business-facing presentations and deliverables. Generate actionable insights and proposed action plans based on analysis.

Skills and Requirements

Experience performing independent data analysis and translating insights into business recommendations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with: Snowflake Databricks (automation and data pipelining) SQL with strong coding standards Business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Plotly Ability to communicate complex analyses in a clear and impactful manner. Experience identifying root causes and developing actionable recommendations. Ability to work independently and manage analytical workstreams with limited oversight. Pharmacy or healthcare industry experience.
