The primary purpose of this position is to to provide agile logistics support to the center of the aerospace testing universe and its global combat mission. Responsibilities Designs and conducts comprehensive research and analysis studies related to military and civilians in the areas of manpower, personnel, awards, commercial activities studies (A-76), and/or special projects. Develops detailed plans (many without precedent and long-range) and directs or conducts comprehensive management studies to identify problems and propose solutions to improve productivity and efficiency. Gathers data and prepares reports/briefings. Serves as the organizational Security Manager. Implements DOD, USAF, and MAJCOM policies and develops local procedures. Interprets, formulates, and implements regulatory guidance for classification management and safeguarding requirements. Prepares and presents written reports and/or oral briefings. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions HERE. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is specialized experience includes organizing and leading study teams to plan and execute complex, multi-faceted projects; researching, analyzing, and applying policies and regulations to resolve operational issues; tracking program goals and resource utilization using database tools and visual productivity indicators; and collaborating effectively with stakeholders and customers using tact and diplomacy to meet mission requirements. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
