Occupational Therapist (OT) - School-Based
Location: Sun Prairie, WI
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temporary assignment with potential to extend through a semester or full school year
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $60/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in the Sun Prairie area. This full-time, school-based role serves Early Childhood, 4K, and Elementary students, helping them develop the skills necessary to access and participate in their educational environment.
Caseload
-
Approximately 32 students
-
24 Direct Service
-
8 Consultation
-
Early Childhood, 4K, and Elementary populations
-
Site assignments may vary based on student needs
Responsibilities
-
Conduct evaluations and develop treatment recommendations.
-
Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEPs.
-
Consult with teachers, support staff, and families regarding student needs.
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
-
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting.
-
Recommend accommodations, adaptive equipment, and strategies to support student success.
Qualifications
-
Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license.
-
School-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage a caseload across multiple educational settings.
