As a Security Officer Manufacturing Facility in Redford, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive facility buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns to the appropriate personnel.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
