This leader partners across Commercial, Finance, Operations, Procurement, Product Management, and Supply Chain to establish one executable plan, identify risks and opportunities, and drive timely business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
-
Own the Medical BU SIOP operating model, governance, monthly cadence, and executive reviews.
-
Lead the Demand Planning, Inventory Management, and S&OE functions.
-
Connect the 3–24 month SIOP horizon with annual financial planning, long-range strategy, and the 0–90 day S&OE execution horizon.
-
Balance customer service, growth, capacity, working capital, and profitability through fact-based scenarios and decisions.
SIOP Leadership & Business Integration
-
Own and continuously improve the end-to-end SIOP process, calendar, governance, decision rights, and executive review content.
-
Integrate commercial assumptions, demand outlook, supply capability, capacity, inventory, and financial commitments into one consensus plan.
-
Lead scenario planning, gap-to-plan reviews, and risk and opportunity discussions; drive clear decisions, owners, and follow-through.
-
Partner with Finance to reconcile operating plans with the annual plan, forecast, and latest business expectations.
Demand Planning
-
Lead demand planning across products, customers, regions, and sites, including baseline forecasting, commercial intelligence, new-product demand, and forecasthandoffs.
-
Establish segmentation, forecast value-add, forecast accuracy, bias, and assumption-management disciplines.
-
Challenge demand inputs constructively and ensure an unconstrained demand view is available for supply and financial planning.
Supply, Capacity & Master Production Planning
-
Lead aggregate supply planning and capacity reviews across component and assembly operations.
-
Ensure demand priorities are translated into feasible supply plans and Master Production Schedules, with appropriate planning horizons and time fences.
-
Assess labor, equipment, supplier, material, and intercompany constraints; develop recovery, allocation, sourcing, or capacity scenarios.
-
Drive alignment among supply plans, site MPS, material requirements, production schedules, and customer commitments.
-
Improve schedule attainment, planning stability, constraint visibility, and escalation discipline.
Inventory & Working Capital
-
Own BU inventory strategy, targets, projections, health, and governance.
-
Guide safety-stock, service-level, replenishment, lot-size, MOQ, lead-time, and stocking-policy decisions.
-
Drive action on excess, obsolete, aging, and slow-moving inventory while protecting customer service and growth plans.
What your background should look like
Required
-
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
-
10+ years of progressive supply chain, operations, or planning experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
-
Demonstrated ownership of SIOP, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning in a complex manufacturing environment.
-
Hands-on end-to-end experience across demand planning, supply planning, capacity planning, inventory management, MPS, MRP, and S&OE.
