Full job description

Full-time| M-F, 8:30am-5pm (hour could vary due to business needs) |$19.30| Weekly earned wage access is an option.

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Youth Development Assistant supports youth development programs by delivering educational, recreational, and life‑skills activities for youth ages 6–18, promoting engagement, positive behavior, and a safe environment.

Primary Tasks:

  1. Support the delivery of youth development programs and activities by participating in educational, recreational, and life‑skills designed to promote youth engagement and positive development.

  2. Provide supervision and guidance to youth participants during activities to support safety, appropriate behavior, and a positive environment.

  3. Engage with youth participants to encourage involvement, teamwork, and constructive participation in programs and activities.

  4. Observe program activities and participant interactions and communicate relevant information, concerns, or issues to the supervisor as needed.

  5. Assist with program tracking and documentation, including attendance and participation information, using established tools or systems.

  6. Track and monitor food service program activities by tracking participation, maintaining records, and providing information to the supervisor in accordance with established practices.

  7. Monitor and process all new member enrollment and membership renewals to help ensure information remains accurate and up to date.

  8. Help maintain youth program spaces, supplies, and equipment, including assisting with organization, cleanliness, and inventory.

  9. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

MINIMUM

  • Ability to mentor and work well with youth

  • Knowledge of athletics, Choctaw culture, and technology

  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Etc.)

  • One [1] year of experience in related field
