Ellis Medicine is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Cardiology team in Clifton Park, New York.

Clinical Responsibilities

The Advanced Practitioner will work collaboratively with cardiologists and the broader care team to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Evaluating new and established cardiology patients

  • Obtaining comprehensive medical histories and performing physical examinations

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and managing cardiovascular conditions

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

  • Ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic testing

  • Managing medications and providing patient education

  • Monitoring patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions

  • Coordinating care with cardiologists, primary care providers, and other specialists

  • Providing education regarding cardiovascular disease prevention, risk-factor modification, and healthy lifestyle choices

  • Participating in care coordination and follow-up to promote optimal clinical outcomes

Qualifications

  • Current NP or PA certification

  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice in New York State

  • Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required

  • Cardiology experience preferred

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

Recruitment Package

Ellis Medicine offers a competitive recruitment package designed to support your professional and personal transition to our organization, including:

  • Competitive salary range of $134,120-$147,028

  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
