Document Control Specialist

Location : Remote, US

Pay Rate : $16.00/hour, which may be below your state's minimum wage. Please consider this when applying

Employment type : Full-time

Hours of Operation : Monday-Friday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm EST.

About the Role

As a Document Control Specialist, you will provide document prep, sort, verify information based on client requirements. Your assistance will make a positive difference in the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exchanges information and ideas effectively.

  • Responsibility Statements

  • Receives, processes, and ensures document classification are completed and transmitted to clients.

  • May require outbound correspondence from the client to be processed.

  • Receives documents from both electronic and hard copy forms for processing.

  • Sorts, images, documents, files, and archives by form type.

  • Identifies documents and their purpose; creating a database of information.

  • Classifies documents based on contract requirements.

  • Captures information based on client requirements.

  • Verifies data from automated data extraction tools.

  • Ensures transmission of processed data to the appropriate next level.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Have a High School Diploma or an equivalent level of education

  • Have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

  • Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to perform repetitive document handling tasks for extended periods of time.
