Salary: 110k

This is a highly field-focused role, with approximately 75% of the time spent onsite supporting active construction projects. The Safety Manager will partner closely with project managers, superintendents, foremen, employees, and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture, identify and mitigate jobsite hazards, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, client requirements, and applicable transportation industry safety standards.

The position supports civil construction and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects, including roadway construction, electrical work, underground utility installations, traffic control operations, heavy equipment activities, and other infrastructure-related projects. The Safety Manager will play a key role in driving safety performance and ensuring safe execution across all project operations.

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years in construction safety, ideally on roadway, traffic control, electrical, underground utilities, or ITS projects

  • Real field person. The role is about 75% on site, working directly with supers and foremen

  • Based in Dallas–Fort Worth, with a driver's license, and OK traveling between jobs in DFW and occasionally other parts of Texas

  • Solid on OSHA construction standards, inspections, JHAs, and incident investigations CHST, ASP, or CSP is a big plus. OSHA 30 at minimum

  • • Bilingual (English/Spanish) (STRONGLY PREFFERED)
