School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: San Jacinto, CA
Pay Rate: $75.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Up to 35 hours per week
Setting: K-12 School District
We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide services within a K-12 school district in San Jacinto, CA. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and special education staff to support students' participation and success in the educational environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating students, developing therapy goals, and providing occupational therapy services that promote independence and functional performance in the school setting.
Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and IEP goals.

Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.

Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Qualifications

Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of California.

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of special education processes and IEP development preferred.
Requirements

Current CPR certification, if required.

Current TB clearance (PPD, chest X-ray, or questionnaire, as applicable).

Health certificate, if required by contract or state regulations.

Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
