Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated NOC Proactive Engineer to join our Network Operations Center team. This role focuses on proactively monitoring, analyzing, and running routine health checks. The ideal candidate will identify potential issues before they impact business operations, perform trend analysis, and collaborate with technical teams to drive preventive actions.
Roles & responsibility:

Proactively monitor network, server, cloud, and infrastructure health using monitoring tools.

Identify potential issues, performance degradation, and capacity risks before they impact services.

Analyze alerts, trends, and recurring incidents to recommend preventive actions.

Perform initial troubleshooting and coordinate with technical teams for issue resolution.

Escalate critical incidents and support major outage management activities.

Monitor service availability and ensure adherence to operational SLAs.

Generate health, performance, and capacity reports for stakeholders.

Optimize monitoring thresholds, alerting mechanisms, and operational processes.

Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, Security, and Service Desk teams.

Maintain accurate documentation, operational procedures, and incident records.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and performance.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in a NOC, Infrastructure Operations, Managed Services, or IT Operations environment.

Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and switching.

Experience monitoring Windows and Linux server environments.

Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as: SolarWinds/PRTG/LogicMonitor

Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.

Understanding of cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS.

Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, ConnectWise, or Jira.

Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment
