Job Function Machine Operator

Position: Welder

Location: Lebanon, PA

Salary: $24.00-$35.00/hr

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Welder to fabricate, repair, and assemble metal components while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires expertise in multiple welding processes, blueprint reading, and fabrication techniques.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of welding experience.

  • Proficiency with SMAW, FCAW, GMAW (MIG), and/or GTAW (TIG) welding processes.

  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.

  • Experience operating grinders, overhead cranes, and forklifts preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

  • Fit, align, and weld components according to specifications.

  • Pass and maintain internal X-ray quality weld testing (SMAW/FCAW).

  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and structural integrity.

  • Perform dimensional inspections using measuring tools.

  • Conduct daily equipment maintenance checks.

  • Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical and Mental Efforts:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout the shift.

  • Occasional lifting of 50+ pounds.

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and maintain focus on detailed tasks.
