🔧 What You'll Be Doing
As a top-level Electrical Technician, you'll be responsible for building, testing, troubleshooting, and improving complex electromechanical systems that support advanced robotic printing technology.
Key responsibilities include:

Troubleshoot and optimize electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and fluid systems
-
Build and integrate control panels, wire harnesses, electrical cabinets, and test equipment
-
Support the design and construction of test stands and infrastructure
-
Diagnose and repair motors, actuators, pumps, valves, PLCs, and control systems
-
Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
-
Collect test data and work with engineers to improve system performance
-
Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
-
Mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives
-
Use electrical testing equipment including multimeters and voltage meters
-
Support prototype development and product validation for advanced robotic systems
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
-
5+ years of electrical or electromechanical troubleshooting experience
-
Strong experience in industrial automation, robotics, or control systems
-
Experience working with 120V-480V electrical systems
-
Knowledge of three-phase motors, control panels, PLCs, and HMIs
-
Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
-
Experience troubleshooting wiring, electrical components, and mechanical assemblies
-
Familiarity with pumps, compressors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
-
Comfortable using electrical diagnostic and testing equipment
-
Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a hands-on industrial environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, startup, or R&D environments
Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field
Experience with high-voltage or high-current systems
Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
