As an Automated Functional Validation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing validation processes and ensuring the functional integrity of Intel's cutting-edge hardware SoC. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing, enabling, and continuously improving validation tools and automation methodologies.

By creating end-to-end validation infrastructure and automating execution, you'll drive efficiency and enhance the quality of validation. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and performance of semiconductor solutions essential to Intel's innovation.

Please note that this is a temporary position with an expected duration of 1year, and potentially up to 2 years.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, enable, and optimize functional validation testing tools and methodologies.
  • Write automation scripts to execute validation content and streamline testing processes.
  • Collect, store, and visualize data in centralized locations to enhance decision-making.
  • Define and enhance automation tools to assess hardware health under various conditions.
  • Participate in debugging efforts to identify root causes of platform HW, firmware, and silicon issues.
  • Collaborate across validation teams to improve lifecycle efficiency.
  • Develop and deploy CI/CD solutions for system testing with the latest software stack.
  • Deliver optimizations for high-value items through automation and tool development.

The ideal candidate should show the following behavioral traits:

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications: Minimum qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:

  • Bachelor's or BS degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science).

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in:• Validation automation, scripting, and debugging processes.

  • Proficiency in Python for automation script development.

  • Familiarity with system architecture and SoC microarchitecture.

  • Strong skills in root cause analysis and hardware validation.

  • Advanced English level.

Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico (this position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship).

Preferred Qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Master's or PhD in a related field with 2+ years of experience.
  • Experience deploying CI/CD solutions in a testing environment.
  • Expertise in post-silicon validation and debugging techniques.
