Schedule: PRN Shift: Night-Weekend (United States of America) Address: 7820 W 165TH ST City: OVERLAND PARK State: Kansas Postal Code: 66223 Job Description:

Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English, with or without reasonable accommodation [Required]
  • Ability to produce legible handwriting or otherwise accurately document required information, with or without reasonable accommodation [Required]
  • Mathematical skills essential to job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation [Required]
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) [Preferred]
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite [Preferred]
  • Experience with a Point of Sale System [Preferred]
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation [Preferred]

Work Experience:

  • 1+ year of position-related experience [Preferred]
  • 1+ year of prior experience as a dietary aide, diet clerk, clerical, or hospital/care facility foodservice [Preferred]
