A Snapshot of Your Day

In this finance role, as a Commercial Sales Manager, you will work on interesting and challenging opportunities in a highly motivated, cross functional team. You will be managing all commercial and financial aspects throughout the whole sales and bid process and be responsible to produce complex bids from a commercial point of view for our Substation projects.

A flawless collaboration between the Commercial Sales Manager, Tender Manager, Sales Manager, and legal, is key for the overall success.

How You’ll Make anImpact

  • Review customerrequirements and take the lead on all commercial aspects such as bid specificterms and conditions, tax and currency concepts, import duties, credit riskmanagement, financial securities (letters of credit/bank guarantees/bonds),terms of payments, cashflow analysis, and insurance, all the way to bidsubmission and post bid follow ups.

  • Partner with technicalsales and tender manager to develop winning strategy.

  • · Ensure adherence toall relevant internal rules & guidelines including Limits of Authority(LoA), New Collaboration Model (NCM), FRG, tax, trade finance or currencyguidelines.

  • Define optimalbusiness model and contract structure (i.e. ZRG, NCM).

  • Lead contractnegotiations for all commercial and financial aspects.

  • Build strong relationshipswith internal & external functions, e.g. management, finance, legal,insurance, taxes & customers.

  • · In cooperation withthe proposal team ensure the accuracy of the cost and review pricingcalculation.

  • Assure bid andcontract award are in compliance with accounting standards (i.e. IFRS) tosecure order intake and revenue recognition.

  • Participate inactivities associated with project handover to the execution organization to ensuretimely order booking and a smooth start of execution activities.

  • Promote opportunities thatcontribute to the business’ success.

WhatYou Bring

  • · BS/BA degree or in higherfinance, business administration or related field, or equivalent workexperience required.

  • 5+ years of experienceworking in commercial sales or commercial project management role.

  • Experience with EPCProjects and/or Data Centers is a plus.

  • Experience withincontract negotiations, commercial project management and financial projectcontrolling, or cost estimations.

  • Strong writing,presentation & meeting facilitation skills. Excellent communicationsskills; able to clearly and concisely express information & requirementsthrough writing, speaking and presentations.

  • · Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills.

  • Resilience andpositive attitude when working under pressure, due to multiple bid assignmentswith varying degrees of complexity and deadlines.

  • Worked ininternational projects and with intercultural and cross functional teams.

  • · Required amount oftravel around 10%-15%.
