Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Structural Engineer to support an Aerospace Client. This role will be responsible for providing analytical support focused on the durability and structural integrity of gas turbine compressor hardware, including airfoils, rotors, shafts, cases, and actuation linkage systems.

The engineer will support components throughout the product lifecycle, from preliminary design and development through validation, certification, manufacturing, and operational service.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineer
  • Experience performing structural analysis using Finite Element Methods (FEM/FEA)
  • Experience with stress, deflection, vibration, fatigue life (LCF/HCF), fracture mechanics, damage tolerance, or kinematic analyses
  • Experience using Ansys
  • Experience supporting aerospace, gas turbine, or rotating machinery components.
  • Experience supporting design validation, certification, and field investigation activities.
