Job Description

We are seeking a QC Process Improvement & Dashboard Project Lead to support a laboratory transformation initiative focused on improving operational visibility, performance tracking, and process efficiency within a Quality Control organization. The primary objective of this role is to design, build, and launch an interactive performance dashboard that provides real-time visibility into laboratory operations, sample status, and key performance metrics. Following dashboard implementation, this individual will partner with Quality, Laboratory, IT, Digital, and Automation teams to identify and execute operational improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience in project management, quality systems, business analytics, process improvement, or digital transformation who enjoys solving problems, working cross-functionally, and driving measurable business impact. Key Responsibilities Dashboard Development & Project Leadership Lead the development and implementation of a laboratory performance dashboard Gather business requirements from Quality Control leadership and laboratory stakeholders Translate operational needs into dashboard functionality and reporting requirements Partner with IT, Digital, and Automation teams to connect and validate data sources Build and maintain dashboards utilizing Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics Drive testing, validation, deployment, and user adoption activities Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to leadership

Data Analytics & Reporting Analyze laboratory and operational data to identify trends and opportunities Develop meaningful KPIs and performance measures Create reports and visualizations that support operational decision making Monitor dashboard effectiveness and recommend enhancements Utilize data sources including Databricks, Excel, and enterprise systems

Process Improvement Initiatives Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for operational improvement Partner with laboratory teams to evaluate workflows and business processes Support process optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement efforts Evaluate opportunities for automation and digital solutions Participate in future transformation initiatives after dashboard implementation

Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Quality Control leadership to prioritize projects and improvement opportunities Collaborate with QC analysts to understand current workflows and challenges Engage with IT, Automation, Digital, and Data Analytics teams Support change management, communication, and stakeholder alignment activities

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, Quality, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in project management, quality operations, process improvement, business analytics, or related functions Experience building or supporting dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working with large data sets and performance metrics Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Self-starter who is comfortable learning new systems and technologies Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, manufacturing, or regulated industries Familiarity with Databricks or enterprise data warehouse environments Understanding of Quality Systems or Quality Operations Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives Knowledge of automation tools, Power Automate, or workflow management applications Exposure to laboratory or manufacturing environments
