We are looking for:

The Shift I&E Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting plant electrical systems, power distribution, and instrumentation. The role supports plant safety, reliability, and emergency response on a rotating shift.

We can count on you for:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, drives, instrumentation, and power distribution.

  • Support a strong safety culture and follow all safety protocols (including NFPA 70E).

  • Respond to emergency and scheduled maintenance work orders.

  • Participate in reliability improvement initiatives and the Emergency Response Team.

  • Collaborate with team members and provide technical support.

  • Document maintenance activities and irregularities.

  • Be available for emergency call-in situations as needed

You will bring:

  • Associate Degree in Maintenance, Electrical, or Instrumentation Technology OR Minimum 5 years’ industrial I/E maintenance experience

  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety and industry standards (e.g., NFPA 70E)

  • Experience with:

  • Electrical systems & power distribution

  • Variable speed drives & control systems

  • Process instrumentation (temperature, pressure, level, etc.)

  • Familiarity with SAP or other CMMS

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

  • Experience in chemical or carbon fibers manufacturing a plus

You will get:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $37.13 - $42.44 per hour. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

  • 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations

Additional information:

This role requires availability for a rotating shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (7–7). Candidates must be able to work both day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the rotation.
