Life Underwriting Senior Analyst Consultant

Job Duties

Beacon Hill Financial is seeking a 100% remote Life Underwriting Sr. Analyst. This is a long-term contract through December 2027 offering up to $41/hour (DOE).

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate life insurance risks and provide preliminary underwriting assessments

Review medical histories and common impairments

Deliver quick quote opinions while meeting production turnaround expectations

Communicate underwriting rationale to advisors and business partners

Educate field partners on underwriting tools and risk assessment

Document decisions and manage multiple requests simultaneously

Key Requirements:

Life insurance underwriting experience

Swiss Re experience required

Knowledge of underwriting classes and risk assessment

Understanding of medical impairments including diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, cardiac conditions, cancer history, and mental health

Strong communication and multitasking skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
