Job Summary:
Maintains accurate, detailed reports and client records Provides education to client and family Administers prescribed medications or starts intravenous fluids, and notes times and amounts on clients' charts Prepares rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies, and ensures that stock of supplies is maintained Prepares clients for, and assists with, examinations and treatments Observes nurses and visits clients to ensure that proper nursing care is provided Monitors, records and reports symptoms and changes in clients' conditions Monitors all aspects of client care, including diet and physical activity Modifies client treatment plans as indicated by clients' responses and conditions Provides health care, first aid, immunizations and assistance in convalescence and rehabilitation This is temporary or hourly paid work performing professional health care services. Positions in this job are established for less than 9 months or scheduled for less than 30 hours per week and are not eligible for benefits if the position status is temporary (i.e., SCOA 513). Positions in this job are established for greater than 9 months and scheduled for greater than 30 hours per week if the position status is permanent labor (i.e., SCOA 512). Normally permanent labor positions are eligible for Health Insurance benefits.

Licenses must be current and enable providers to practice within the State of Georgia.

- Annual Influenza*
*Limited exemptions may be made for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs that object to vaccinations.
