Day Compensation Hourly base pay rate is $16.59 - $24.86/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. Job Description

The Title Specialist I (TS) position will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of vehicle titles by verifying title information is correct, maintaining knowledge of current laws regarding vehicle titles and interacting with clients and regulatory agencies to resolve title issues.

The shift for this position is Monday through Friday from 10AM to 7PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review titles for negotiability, sign and reassign titles for sellers and buyers.

  • Complete application for new title on behalf of clients as needed.

  • Facilitate lien perfection on NextGear Capital financed collateral when required.

  • Release a NextGear Capital lien on collateral that has been paid in full according to policy.

  • Answer communications from clients on title questions.

  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum

  • High School Diploma/GED.

  • Generally, less than 2 years of experience

  • Be familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Effective communication skills and a strong customer service attitude are required.

  • Sitting and standing for extended periods of time.

  • Bending and light lifting 10 lbs or less required.

  • Extensive detail handwritten and computer work.

Preferred

  • Prior experience with vehicle titling is preferred but not required.

  • Notary license is preferred but not required.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional customer service abilities.

  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in using various computer functions and office equipment.

  • Professional demeanor and the ability to handle various situations with a pleasant attitude.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.

Drug Testing

To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position.
