Major/Essential Functions:

  • Advise undergraduate students (and parents) in person and through zoom on their major/ minor and courses required in the KSM dept. along with answering questions. Work collaboratively as a successful and respectful team in fulfilling all job functions.

  • Prepare and present orientations for University Day and Red Raider orientations. Attend training classes and meetings in person and through zoom. Work collaboratively as a successful and respectful team in fulfilling all job functions.

  • Prepares and updates all Kinesiology and Sport Management tracks, degree plans, prerequisites, degree audits and process overrides with instructors' permission. Work collaboratively as a successful and respectful team in fulfilling all job functions.

About the Department and/or College:

The Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management enrolls over 400 undergraduate students in the B.S. in Sport Management and over 100 master’s degree students in the M.S. in Sport Management, online and face-to-face. The department offers a face-to-face and an online B.S. in Kinesiology and an M.S. in Kinesiology for over 1,500 undergraduate and 40 graduate students, respectively. It also offers a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology. Its building includes six classrooms, a student computer lab, and faculty offices.
